Goa decorated with flowers on Dasro

Goans celebrated Dasro in its traditional way in different parts of Goa. And Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant celebrated it by participating in the annual Path Sanchalan of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Bicholim taluka.

The RSS had organised its annual Path Sanchalan at Shantadurga High School. The chief minister was seen in the RSS uniform and a Lathi in his hand. Speaker Rajesh Patnekar also attended it, but without RSS uniform. There was a march by RSS also in Cuncolim. Watch these visuals and CM’s Dasro greetings. 

 

Dasro is also an opportunity for vendors to sell flowers, which are known as Gondde in Konkani. People decorate their vehicles as well as shops with these flowers. And the permanent vendors clash with the one-day new vendors who sell flowers on the street.
