Corona didn't spoil youth's creativity of this year's Chovoth

Adpai Chovoth is famous for floats and dindi. However, this year Adpaikars didn't carry out floats and dindi following rules and norms laid by the government due to coronavirus.



They carried out immersion of Ganesh idol in a simple manner as decided by Adpai villagers.


Adpai villagers have decided to carry out immersion ceremony for the health common public, minus the floats.


On Fifth day, Wednesday 17 Ganesh idols will be immersed in Adpai Zuari river.


Ganapati Bappa comes once a year in every household during Chovoth. Ganapati is most liked god of children.


In various parts children showcase their talent by preparing various decorations.


This Ganesh is from Kavlekar's family from Gaonkarwado Mayem. Subham Kavlekar has done attractive paper decoration in his house.


While another person Vishnu Gawade from Honda-Pissurlem has done mind-blowing decoration.


When natural items are used for decoration its gives a natural look and makes it more beautiful. Madhukar Naik from Shelvan-Curchorem has made a makhar from Banana tree.
