Ayyapa Shobayatra ends on Monday

Hundreds of Keralites residing in Goa celebrated their traditional festival 'Ayyapa Shobayatra' which concluded on Monday.



The eight-day-long annual Utsavam of lord Ayyappa at Shree Ayyappa temple at Mangor-Hill in Vasco concluded with the procession of Thalappoli also known as ‘Shobhayatra'..



People from port town flocked to Baina beach to witness the colourful procession.


Participants dressed in traditional costumes with thalam in their hands filled with fresh paddy, flowers, rice, coconut and a lighted lamp took part in the procession which kicked off from Hanuman temple near Ravindra Bhavan.
