Maha Shivratri celebrated all over the state

Maha Shivratri is the day of Lord Shiva. Goans celebrated this festival all over the state. From last night various activities were organized in different villages of Goa, like Dhave - Sattari, Shankarwadi-Taleigao, Margao and also in Vasco. Here Goa 365 looks at the celebrations across the state.

Devotees celebrate Mahashivratri all over the state with great enthusiasm by organizing various cultural, traditional, artistic programme and performing various religious rituals. Dramas, bhajans, kirtans also take place at some places. Locals from Shankarwadi - Taleigao also celebrated Shivratri by offering milk to the Shivlinga.
