‘Threats against Girish,’ claims Congress

Goa Congress party has raised the issue of GPCC President Girish Chodankar being threatened on Facebook by BJP workers.



The party has demanded that an FIR be lodged against the BJP workers.

Congress party also asked the Health Minister as to why there is no bone marrow transplant facility at Goa Medical College and Hospital.

The Facebook threat comes in the wake of GPCC president Girish Chodankar suggesting Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar to take rest and allow someone else to take over the chief ministership.

The party says it is an attempt to silence the voices that speak for the people of Goa. 

Congress Party has questioned the government whether there is a real need to spend 75 lakh rupees per month on the salaries of security personnel.

It demanded a bone marrow facility in Goa. the party claimed that a boy from a poor family has been sent to a Mumbai hospital for bone marrow cancer which cost 20 lakh rupees.
