The chief Minsiter Pramod Sawant came fully in defence of the three underfire projects coming up in the state. He said that there were people with agendas that were fuelling this opposition.

The chief minister was addressing his workers in Vasco.

Here he took the Power Minister Nilesh Cabral's line on the electricity project that are to come up in the Mollem sanctuarty.

That in case it did not come up then goans would not have proper electricity to run their appliances.

However, he went another step further saying that water too would be affected.

The chief minster also said that they are trying to get mining restarted in the state.
