Daji vs Carlos: Political war in Vasco as election approaching

Political war and accusations has begun in Vasco given the fact that the Council and assembly elections are fast approaching. On Tuesday, three time Vasco city councillor Daji Salkar has alleged that Vasco MLA Carlos Almedia has failed miserably to carry out development work in Vasco constituency for last ten years of is term as MLA.

Salkar said that Goa is developing under the BJP government all over. But Vasco is way behind on development as several projects are pending for several years even though assurances are being regularly given. He added that he will not contest Council election in forthcoming elections as he will give a chance to new faces. But he will put up his panel to carry out development through mormugao muncipal council.
