Cong hits out at CM over religious convesrion statement

The Congress on Monday criticized the statement of the chief minister on conversions while also attacking it on the electricity situation of the state.



The leader of opposition Michael Lobo attacked the chief ministers statement which said that Poor people from Goa are being targeted and forced to convert religion.

Michael, who till a couple of weeks before the elections was a BJP minister, said that the government was advised to complete the pending power substation of Saligao if it were to sort out the Bardez electricity issues.

The newly appointed GPCC president Amit PAtrar also spoke on the possible reasons for the Congres defeat in the recent assembly electiosn as well as wghat the party had to do in the future.

Ironically, the IPAC founder Prashant Kishore is in talks with the Congress high command about his possible future with or in the Congress .
