The Congress has taken up Goa’s issue of political instability at the national level. It has now gone to national media with a demand to convene a special Assembly session and conduct a floor test to see whether Manohar Parrikar government actually enjoys majority.

National spokesperson of Congress Pawan Khera and  GPCC President Girish Chodankar have alleged that because Parrikar was the defence minister during the Rafale deal, he is not being removed as chief minister.

GPCC president Girish Chodankar briefed the national media on Saturday along with their national spokesperson Pawan Khera.

They asked why ailing chief minister is not dropped when ailing ministers are dropped.

The Rafale connection was brought out strongly at the press briefing
