Casinos: MLA, CCP want action

Babush and CCP Mayor had an issue with a Casino Big Daddy when they went to remove the encroachments on the footpath.

Babush has brought it out in the assembly that instead of the police taking action against the casino staff, they had filed FIRs against them even though they were present at site.

The Corporation City of Panaji recetly decided to not to renew trade licenses of casinos.

The mayor says that the resolution is still not been passed by the CCP. But would be.

The CCP strategy is in line with their MLA who had promised t oremove casionos out of the mandovi in 100 days when he was in the Congress.

Mayor Uday Madkaikar says that the CCP move to not renew licenses would stop operations of casinos.
