Notices have been issued to concerned parties. Hearing will take place on 30th April. Here is more.

MGP MLA's Babu Azagaonkar and Deepak Pauskar had joined BJP during the midnight of 27th March.

Speaker Michael Lobo had accepted the merger of MGP legislature into the BJP. But, Forward Democratic Labour Party has challenged this move in the court.

Party's president Sadanand Vaigankar has argued that there is no provision to merge legislature party. To do so, grassroot party had to take a resolution.
