A video that weren't viral created a huge controversy at Chicalim. In the video there's is a huge argument between supporters and persons in Transport Minister Mauvin Godinhos camp and green Activist Fr. Bolmax Pereira at the house of Stephanie Lucas, a member of Chicalim Youth Farmers Club. This happened right after she was declared elected unopposed in the panchayat by-polls.

Stephanie Lucas got elected unopposed from Chicalim panchayat ward 2. However, looks like the BJP karyakartas, specifically the ministers perosons his PS found this unfair. They threatened Fr. Bolmax asking him to keep himself in the church. The BJP karyakartas also threatened one Mathew D'Souza for shooting their video of threatening Fr. Bolmax and make it viral. First lets take a look in which Fr. Bolmax is sought to be browbeaten and abused.

Later on Fr. Bolmax who gave his views to the media and highlighted points in the democracy.

 After the incident the threaths came. And the Islanders rushed to the police station to complain about this. Mathew D'Souza and Jacinta Fernandes spoke about   the threats made to them.
