Vajpayee’s Asthi-Kalash yatra draws crowd from North & South Goa

Scores of BJP workers and supporter from North and South Goa paid their respects to the Asthi-Kalash yatra of late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A day-long event a before the ashes are immersed in Mandovi and Zuari rivers on Friday.

The BJP has chalked out a two-day programme across the state before the immersion of ashes in Goa’s two major rivers. 

In North, the asti kalash yatra took off from Panaji leading towards Porvorim, Calangute, Siolem, Mandrem, Pedne, Mapusa and thivim

In South Goa, the yatra began from Canacona to Cuncolim, Quepem, Snaguem, Cudchade, Sanvordem, Shiroda and Ponda.

While areas of Fatorda, Navelim, Cortalim, Margoa, Vasco will be covered on Friday before the ashes are immersed at Cortalim ferry ramp.
