Rajiv Gandhi death anniversary observed

GPCC President Girish Chodankar said Rajiv Gandhi took efforts to bring information technology revolution in India but BJP opposed it.



Now same BJP using this technology to destroy Indian Democracy of India.


But Congress will try to keep India united remembering sacrifice and contribution given by Rajiv Gandhi.


GPCC marked 28th death anniversary of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.


Congress leader garlanded statue of Rajiv Gandhi at Rajiv Gandhi Medical Complex at Bambolim.


Opposition leader Babu Kavlekar, MLA Digambar Kamat and others were present.


Rajiv Gandhi was 6th prime minister of India. He was assasinated on 21st May 1991 at Tamil Nadi.


This is why this day is marked as anti-terrorism day. Congress leaders took oath that they won't promote any violance remembering sacrifice of Rajiv Gandhi.


Rajiv Gandhi death anniversary was marked at Congress headquarters in Panaji.


Former chief minister Pratapsingh Rane, opposition leader Babu Kavlekar, Girish Chodankar, Alex Reginald, Nilkhant Harlankar, Babi Bagkar, Amarnath Panjikar and other leaders paid floral tributes to the potrait of Rajiv Gandhi.
