Govind was speaking at the function in Ponda to observe  Dayanand Bandodkar’s death anniversary.  Also present were Ponda MLA Ravi Naik and former Priol MLA Deepak Dhavlikar. 

Cultural group, Ponda First also organized a function to mark the death anniversary of Bandodkar. Meritorious students of SSC and higher secondary were awarded on the occasion. TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai was the chief guest. 

Bahusaheb  bandodkar death anniversary   was also observed at Calangute. Deputy Speaker and Calangute MLA  Michael Lobo along with sarpanch , panchas, freedom fighters and others were present.

Deputy speaker spoke on issue affecting his constituency including Matka preaching a zero tolerance approach to illegalities.
