Bhaiee was as big as Bhau: CM

Today’s generation has not seen Bhausaheb Bandodkar. But people still recall his regime. Similarly, people would remember Manohar Bhaiee. Because his work was as big as what Bhau had done. This is what Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant feels.

BJP government and BJP observed late Manohar Parrikar’s birth anniversary on 13^th December. The main function was held at Miramar beach, where a huge 10-crore worth Samadhi of Parrikar is coming up next to Bandodkar’s Samadhi. CM Pramod Sawant laid a foundation stone of the mega project along with Utpal Parrikar, Mauvin Godinho, Babush Monseratte, Alina Saldanha and others. 

The Panaji Mandal of BJP had also organised blood donation camp in Panaji office on the occasion of Parrikar’s birth anniversary. The first one to donate was Panaji’s BJP MLAL Babush Monserratte.

Environment Minister Nilesh Cabral chose the occasion to lay foundation stone of garbage treatment plant at Kakoda, at the hands of Chief Minister Dr Sawant. Also present was Waste Management minister Michael Lobo.
