Aiya & Rajashree bag national Sahitya Academy awards

Hemant Aiya bagged Yuva Sahitya Puraskar for his story collection.

And Rajashree Bandodkar Karapurkar was selected for Bal Sahitya Puraskar for her children’s stories Chitkulya Chinkichem Vishal Vishwa.

Rajashree Bandodkar Karapurkar teaches at PES College in Ponda.

She has written several books on science fiction as well as children’s literature.

Main focus of her literature has always been teaching Science in a lively manner.

Hemant Aiya is a multifaceted artist and writer. After passing out MA in Marathi, he has also been a lecturer in Marathi for some years.

He published his four books in February last year.

Kathakar is one of these short story collection, for which he bagged this national award.

Presently, he lives at his home in Mashem, Canacona.
