Goa woke up on Saturday with a shocking news that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s condition has become critical and he is in coma.

Though Chief Minister’s Office officially denied the news, leaders started rushing to CM’s Taleigao flat and BJP MLAs were summoned for an urgent meeting by evening. Giving a clear signal that all is not well.

Journalists of TV media rushed to CM’s Taleigao residence to witness BJP leaders coming to his house one by one. Meanwhile, CMO put official post on twitter:

With respect to some reports in media, it is hereby stated that Hon’ble Chief Minister @manoharparrikar’s health parameters continue to remain stable.” However, despite this there was movement in and out of hi residence.

Watch But doctors as well as BJP leaders kept rushing to CM’s house, including BJP organising secretary Satish Dhond and Parrikar’s right hand man Sidharth Kuncolinkar. Media managed to speak to Sidharth.

His face spoke more than what he actually spoke. By afternoon, a van came with oxygen cylinders. By evening, MLAs and ministers of Goa Forward and independents led by Vijai Sardesai also arrived at CM’s residence.

On the other hand, Satish Dhond made a trip to Raj Bhavan followed by Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant and Advocate General. It was not known till the bulletin went on air why they visited Raj Bhavan.

An emergency meeting of BJP MLAs was also summoned at the BJP office by evening.
