Changing his earlier statement that Opinion Poll was bigger than Goa Liberation Day, he now says that Goa’s liberation was complete with Opinion Poll.

He has also dared Goa Suraksha Manch to show him black flags and has charged that Maharashtrwadi Gomantak Party is continuing its alliance with the GSM.

Vijay Sardesai’s statement on 16^th January – the Opinion Poll Day – sparked a controversy.
