The Governor spoke passionately about Mahatma Gandhi at a function of 150^th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi organized by Art and Culture department in collaboration with Raj Bhavan.

Also present at the function were deputy CM Babu Kavalekar and Goa University Vice Chancellor Varun Sahani.

Stories of Gandhi were read out by CEO of Gandhian Forum for Ethical Corporate Governance Dr Shobhana Radhakrishna and Dr Ravi Chopra. Favourite Bhajans of Gandhi were also recited in different languages.

Governor Malik also narrated a story of how Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi became the Mahatma.

Governor also said that Mahatma Gandhi was the first man to practice value-based politics.

Such a towering personality never had any ego. But today’s leaders start acting mad after becoming the MLA.

गांधीयन फोरम फॉर एथिकल कॉर्पोरेट गव्हर्नन्स ऑफ इंडियाची मुखेल कार्यकारी डॉ. शोभना राधाकृष्णा आनी डॉ. रवी चोप्रान कथावाचन केलें. वेगवेगळ्या भाशांतल्यान गांधीचीं भजनांय सादर जालीं.
