Hire our trucks first when mining resumes: Salcete truckers

The Margao Salcette Truck Owners Association have demanded that all their trucks which have been registered should be hired on priority basis by the government if mining resumes in the state.

Since the cancelation of renewals of 88 mining leases by the Supreme Court, mining dependants, including truck owners are out of a job.
