Ahead of Assembly session 500 mining dependents take to streets

Ahead of Assembly session nearly 500 mining dependants from Bicholim, Sankhali and surrounding area marched to the local MLA & speaker Pramod Sawant.
They demand mining to be resumed in the state as promised by the government.
Remember its been 4 months since part of
mining activities are stopped in the state and many of them have lost their
jobs.
The rally started from Amona and ended at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali.
Listening to the grievance and issues of the mining dependants, the Local MLA Pramod Sawant has assured that he will take up this issue in the upcoming monsoon assembly session.
