This is what newly appointed Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant said on the resumption of mining in Goa. He has asked the people of Goa and moreover the mining dependants to have patience as this might take some time now. Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant says he is confident of BJP winning both Lok Sabha seats.

As a part of Lok Sabha campaign, the new chief minister paid his first visit to Mormugao and interacted with BJP workers. He then offered prayers at Damodar and Laxminarayan temples along with Urban Development Minister Milind Naik.
