MMC issues notice to clear road side encroachments

It is possibly a case of closing the stable after the horse has escaped.

But on Monday after the Sunday evening fire at the scrap yard behind the vegetable market in Margao, the Municipality conducted a site inspection of the site and the approach road.

After the inspection the civic body decided to remove encroachments along the roadside to allow clear excess for the vehicles especially the Fire tenders in the future.
