‘Speedy settlements of claims under Tribal forest act’

Forest rights claim issue will now be resolved by taking the help from concerned departments says Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte.
A meeting was held on Friday to discuss the issue.
There are 9758 application for the claims out of which 1034 has been placed in the gram sabha and out of those 675 has been unanimously passed.
Govind Gaude emphasized that Tribal forest act is not only for tribal people but even to the other forest dwellers who have been cultivating the land in the forest past several decades.
If there are no clashes in any of the cases then they will be sorted by making the procedure smooth.
