Velsao, Cansaulim villagers oppose double tracking railway lines

Velsao and Cansualim Villagers have strongly opposed the proposed double track railway line running through their villages.
On Friday villagers submitted a memorandum to mormugao dy collector Mahadev Arondekar.
This railway line passes through Velsao and Cansaulim. Speaking to reporters, Olencio Simoes slammed railway authorities for not providing any facilities.
He alleged that the main reason behind this proposed double track railway line was to supply coal to Karnataka based steel company.
