The Sanjivanee sugar factory at Dharbondra has missed two deadlines to start production.

Now the factory is scheduled to start on 15th December.

The sugarcane is harvested and stacked in factory premises.

Now the factory has installed an online pollution monitoring system in the factory as demanded by pollution control.

After sugarcane farmers held protest in factory premises government promised to start the crushing season on 5th of December.

This did not happen mostly due to apathy of the government.

The next deadline was 8th December. And now finally , officials are expecting to start factory on 15th December after getting green signal from Central Pollution Control Board.

Now Nevco Engineering has issued a compliance certificate to the factory and with the certificate, factory administrator Damodar Morajkar along with his production in charge will leave to New Delhi on Monday night.
