Pending work on road give commuters headaches

Development work is going on in the capital city and surroundings. However, the length of time it takes to start and complete any work is truly astounding. Here we take a tour around a couple of roads that don't seem to be getting repaired at all.

Many Panaji city roads are in bad shape but the Caranzalem road takes the cake. Road works in Goa  take months to complete.  At some places water pipes are being laid  while at other  places one can see  underground electricity cables being put in place. To make Panaji  a smart city, a lot of roads are being dug up and left that way.
