Panaji Hotel and Traders Association says licensing policy of the Corporation of the City of Panaji is not business friendly.

The association submitted a memorandum to the Urban Development Minister Francis D’Souza highlighting their grievances.

The Urban Development Minister has fixed a meeting on Wednesday between CCP Commissioner, the Mayor and the Director of Municipal Administration to discuss and sort out the issues.

The restaurant owners allege that the CCP has been hiking house tax and the fees for trade licence, sign boards and  garbage fees without giving basic facilities.
