Inquiry into Margao’s Ravindra Bhavan sponsoring events

The earlier management of Ravindra Bhavan Margao had exceeded its powers.
Earlier, Ravindra Bhavan Margao was headed by former Fatorda MLA Damodar Naik
Under his management, Ravindra Bhavan had organised programmes in places such as Valpoi in Satari, Neturli in Sanguem and Ramnagar in Karnataka.
This issue was raised at the general body meeting of Ravindra Bhavan managing committee held recently.
Now the new management going through the records and will submit its report to the Art and Culture Department to take further action.
Chairman of Ravindra Bhavan Prashant Naik said a proper inquiry should be conducted into the transgression and the matter taken to the logical conclusion.
