With the number of road accidents on the rise, the PWD has come under fire for the pot hole ridden roads across the state. AAP leaders have alleged that the main reason behind this is the shoddy work by done contractors and a lack of supervision by the department as well as lack of political will.

AAP also highlighted the manner in which contracts are given to the contractors and claimed that they would cut several corners during construction work. All illegalities seem to be passing right under the nose of the minister in charge, AAP leader Sunil Signapurkar alleged, adding that this lack of supervision is what fueled the shoddy work.

With potholes now cropping up all over Indias third longest cable stayed bridge, Atal Setu, PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral had informed that IIT Madras would be roped in to study the issue. AAP leader, Valmiki Naik questioned this statement saying that the report which is due by the end of May might expose the scam involved in the bridges construction. Listen to what he had to say.
