Curchorem – Cacora municipality decides to hike shop rent by 5%

Curchorem �Cacora municipality on Friday at its meeting has decided to decided to raise the lease rent of shops of the municipality market by 5%. It also decided to ask those shop keepers who have sub leased their shops to return them back to the municipality.

The meeting saw discussions between the councillors and the power minister Nilesh Cabral on the market complex.

The meeting decided to seal those shops that were not paying their taxes and charge those who open their shops an amount of 730 rupees. It was also decided to fine those who broke the seal to an extent of 10,000 rupees.
