State Congress Vice President Sankalp Amonkar on Friday filed a police complaint against Kodee Resources, Department of mines and geology, Urban Development Minister Milind Naik and the MPT keeping the illegal transportation issue alive even as the chief minister sought to rubbish the allegations.

Sankalp  allegation was that around 1800 tones of iron ore cargo  from MPT were loaded into barges and then to a container ship without following procedures.

Sankalp demanded that an FIR be registered and a thorough enquiry be initiated in the incident before the ship sails out of the port. He also demanded that the machinery used in the incident be seized, repeating his statement that he would file a PIL on the issue.

Sankalp said that he was challenging Milind for a debate in case he was ready for one. And rubbished the allegations made by the BJP mandals calling them Milind's people.
