The Congress party said that they are not  ruling out  approaching the courts on the issue. But as of now they would be intensifying their agitation against the shifting of casinos. The Congress spokesman Tulio D' Souza said that the Congress was against casinos and that stand had not changed.   

The Congress also criticised the decision of the government to cut 20,000 to 50,000 trees for the doubling of the railway track from Castle Rock to kullem. It questioned the usefulness of this doubling f0r Goans.
