Goans rise to uphold India’s secular fabric & Constitution

Verbal war has started in Goa over the amended Citizens’ Act. People of Goa have started rallying together to save Constitution of India and its secular fabric by opposing the CAA.



 After Vasco, a rally in Madgao. On the other hand, BJP organized a programme in Ponda to support CAA. The Madgao rally was quite huge. It also condemned attack on students of JNU.

 The Madgao rally held at historic Lohia Maidan opposed the CAA as well as NRC. It also resolved to protect the secular fabric of India and also to fight fearlessly to uphold the values of equality enshrined in the Constitution of India.

 BJP organized a Youth Day programme in Ponda, which was addressed by BJP national vice president Dr Vinay Sahastrabudhe. He blamed Congress of misguiding the people of India to strengthen their base among the minority Muslims.

 On Sunday, a rally was also held in Vasco, opposing the amended Citizens Act. People were holding portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and a tricolour flag. After moving all around the city, it was converted into a public meeting. Watch
