'Anybody is called anti-national these days if you point fingers at today’s government. But we writers and journalists will not get scared but continue speaking against anything that is wrong'.

This is what said Vidya Bal, a veteran Marathi writer and journalist.

The veteran Marathi writer was in Goa to release the fifth edition of the Marathi book ‘We the Change’ written by young Marathi journalist Sanjay Avate from Maharashtra.

The function was jointly organised by Gomantak Sahitya Sevak Mandal and Institute Menezes Braganza in Panaji.

Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude was the chief guest. He assured the writer that his ministry would distribute this book to all the students felicitated by his government in Goa.

Former union minister Ramakant Khalap was one of the speakers at the function.
