No backing down on the 3 projects, says CM

We are planning for next 50 years and the government is firm on going ahead with the 3 linear projects, the chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant said on Sunday as the BJP pressed down on the election campaign accelerator amidst of slew of inaugurations and foundation stones.



Double tracking, Tamnar 400 KV power line and National Highway passing through the Western Ghats will happen regardless of the protests against them, Sawant reiterated.


He on the other hand attacked those opposing it saying that they are doing it for their own interests and political interests.


The CM was speaking at the inauguration of limited height Subways at Karmal and Cacora and Foot over bridge at Savordem Railway Station at which were also present Powere Minister Nilesh Cabral and PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar.
