NH17-A: A dark reality

NH 17A has plunged into darkness over the confusion of non-payment of electricity bill of the street lights along the highway from Verna to Mangoor.
The streetlights that were installed during defence expo are now switched off. Between the state and national highways, common commuters are bearing the burnt.
Just take a look at this dark reality of NH17A of Verna to Mangoor. The road built on taxpayers money is now posing threat to the daily commuters.
The electricity bill of the streetlights has run up to 30 lakh rupees but here there’s confusion over who will pay.
