Blood Bank in Ponda in next 6 months

Ponda will have a blood bank in the next six months



Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has said it would cost around 2 crore rupees.


He has also assured to improve health care facilities at ID hospital in Ponda.


The health minister was speaking on Saturday during the inauguration of Dilasa, a palliative care centre for terminally ill patients.


It is an initiative of the Indian Medical Association, Ponda charitable trust and was inaugurated by PWD minister Sudin Dhavalikar


He says that a palliative care centre is a need for terminally ill patients.


It is a good step taken by professional doctors dealing with the health of the people.
