BICHOLIM NEEDS LONG TERM SOLUTION: SHETYE

Bicholim MLA Dr. Chandrakant Shetye said that major efforts have been taken prior to monsoons with nallahs and rivers de-silted. He however said that major long term flood mitigation projects have to be implemented in the Sal region as monsoons have begun to get erratic.

Dr Shetye also said that unlike last year, this year teams have been formed to co-ordinate with the Tilari dam officials in order to avoid flood like situations. Listen to what he had to say.
