Balli health centre has just 2 doctors, caters to 4 constituencies

At a time the health minister assures of providing good health facilities in villages of Goa, the primary health centre at Balli is found wanting in its service to patients.



It caters to a vast area but has only two doctors.

The Balli health centre caters to four constituencies, namely Cuncolim, Quepem, Sanguem and Velim.

Sarpanch of Balli-Adnem Rajesh Faldessai said there  are two doctors at the health centre and one of them looks after casualties as well as OPD section.

He says he receives complaints about the unsatisfactory service provided by the health centre.
