South Goa District hospital to be operational by Nov: CM

The government has set target to open new South Goa District Hospital by November end. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said entire Hospicio Hospital will be shifted to new District hospital in November, after GSIDC handovers the building to Health Department in October.



However, CM admits that some work is incomplete and remaining works will be completed once the old hospital is shifted.


Chief Minister Pramod Sawant along with Margao MLA Digambar Kamat inspected the premises Hospicio Hospital.


He met doctors and staff to inquire about the difficulties faced by public. The public present also gave suggestions to Chief Minister.


CM admitted that Hospicio has all kinds of facility but the hospital is not able to cater the public. Watch.


Chief Minister Pramod Sawant appealed people to complain directly to DDSSY Grievances Cell if they face any problem while using DDSSY card.
