Rajendra Arlekar made governor of Himachal Pradesh

Rajendra Arlekar has been appointed as governor of Himachal Pradesh. Arlekar is the third Goan to be made a governor. Former minister Rajendra Arlekar is a member of BJP's core committee team.

He has also been BJP's state Unit president and also the speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly.  

Anthony Lancelot Dias, who was also known as A. L. Dias was the first Goa to become governor of West Bengal. His career was from 1971 till 1979. Sunith Rodrigues was second Goa who become Punjab governor from 2004 till 2010. Arlekar is third Goan.
