Ministers’ Com is fine, but where’s the order, asks BJP minister Francis

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has appointed an advisory committee of three ministers to run the government in his absence. But BJP minister Francis D’Souza is still waiting for a written order to run the government.

He is also not clear how the cabinet meetings would be held. He was prepared to take temporary charge as CM. But he will abide by the coalition formula of three ministers.

CM Parrikar will be away for almost 6 weeks, that is till mid-April. Thus he has formed a committee of Francis D’Souza, Sudin Dhawalikar and Vijai Sardesai.

Francis is also the legislature leader of the BJP. When Goa365 contacted him, the senior minister seemed to be all confused about the order. This is what he told us.

The congress has termed the formation of the 3 member Cabinet advisory committee as unconstitutional and questioned about the legality of the governance by videoconferencing.
