Mayem land rights: Is this issue ever going to be solved?

Locals want to know how many more such agitations they would have to hold before they got their independence from this land bondage.

Locals, who were protesting under the banner of the Mayem Bhoo Vimochan Kriti Nagrik Samiti, complained that as soon as an agitation was done, there was action from the authorities.

But once the pressure was relaeased, things went back to normal,. They are wanted to know while they were struggling for their rights for the past 32 years, why was the need to pass thie Bhumiputra baiil. And who wanted this bill? And who were all generations who lived in Mayem?  

The Abolition of Proprietership Titles and Grants Land bill was passed in 2014. And Governor gave assent to it too. But since then only  a few people have got sanads. But thouands are still stuck without ant land rights. See what Mayekars have to say about this.
