Goans should be grateful. It is experiencing good rainfall for the last 4 years. The reason is - Modi's leadership. This is what Union Environment Minister Prakash Javdekar had to say when he came to Goa this weekend.

He also said that all farmers have bank accounts and mobile phones.

Javdekar was addressing farmers Mayem and Chorao on the farm bill.

However, Javdekar did not address the issues of Mollem, Melaulim protest and Mhadei, the issues which have been creating a lot of angst among goans.

Centre government just passed two controversial farm bills in parliament.

Protest agaisnt his sparked up all the country with a section of farmers saying that these bills were passed to only fill up pockets of landlords and middlemen.

Government in damage control mode has sent Javdekar in Goa to talk to farmers. He met with farmers from Mayem and Chorao.

No one opposing farmer's bill except Punjab. Parties like Congress and Aam Admi are politicising this issue in this state.
