Government has launched one time settlement scheme for power consumers to pay their outstanding dues. Consumers can pay their amount in full or in installments. All cases will also be withdrawn against consumers.

Consumers should clear their bills within one month to avoid disconnection, Power Minister Nilesh Cabral said on Wednesday.

Consumers don't need to run anywhere. Just go on website, enter consumer number and there you go.

If consumer pays full amount 100% DPC will be waived off and if chooses to pay by installment DPC will be waived by percentage.

The option is option for both domestic and commercial consumers, Cabral said.

Dues were outstanding for last 38 years and consumer who defaulted bills won't be spared, he warned.
