Congress party wants one-month monsoon session

Former chief minister and Navelim MLA  Luizinho Faleiro said there are a lot of issues that need to be discussed in the assembly and the previous session was very short.

The first assembly session of the newly elected Legislative assembly was short because of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s illness.

The monsoon session of legislative assembly begins on 19^th of July and will be of 12-day duration.

The opposition wants this session to last at least for one month.
