Chief Secretary assures PWD contract workers of regularization

On Thursday Chief Secretary Dharmendra Sharma has assured PWD contract workers that the government would give make them permanent status.
PWD Labor Supply Society President Dinkar Gawade told Goa 365 that PWD workers met Chief Secretary at Secretariat, Porvorim.
PWD contract workers have been fighting to get their services regularised for almost 20 years.
On Monday they took out a morcha to the chief ministers official residence at Altinho protesting that their latest promise of regularisation by September 30 had not been met.
