Mhadei waters was diverted during the Digambar Kamat's era and Congress has no right to demand my resignation within 48 hours. There won't be a special assembly session till the Supreme Court delivers its verdict.

At present, we show the court steps taken by the Karnataka, this is how Chief Minister Pramod Sawant sharply reacted to the allegations of Congress. CM hopes verdict of Supreme Court would be in favor of Goa:

Congress had demanded for special assembly session saying that the letter issued by Union Minister of Environment Prakash Javdekar to Karnataka could violate court's norm and might affect the verdict. However, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has flatly refused it.

He said a meeting was convened with Advocate General and WRD minister on Friday. He has also warned  protesters to deal with strong hand if they stop tourist in the name of Mhadei agitation.

On the other hand GSM has alleged that wrongdoings of Chief Minister would be exposed as WRD minister Fillip Neri Rodrigues has clearly told the truth. GSM has also welcome the stand taken by Goa Governor Satyapal Malik.
